做政府工作中的修炼体会

Greetings Venerable Master! Greetings Fellow Practitioners!
因为自2003年起，除了常人的全职工作，很长一段时间，我的时间和精力几乎倾注在媒体相关项目中。虽然是1996年底得法的老学员了，但无论做事还是自身的修炼都远远没有达到师尊的期望，然而在同修的感召下，起笔写下身为大法徒在助师正法进程中的点滴体悟，特别是向议会议员讲真相过程中的体会，并能在这里向师尊汇报，和大家分享，非常荣幸和感恩。如有不当，请慈悲指正。
Except that I have a full time job, I spent most of my time and energy on the media-related projects for a long time since2003. I obtained the Fa in1996but I don’t think my cultivation and working ability are up to Master’s expectation. Encouraged by fellow practitioners, I have written this experience sharing article. Particularly I’d like to share with you my experience in clarifying the truth to MPs. It is a great honour to me. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.
1.上班第一天的“生死关”
1.“Life or Death”Test on the First Day of My Work
我是1999年二月来到澳洲的，通过在移民部提供的免费英语培训中学到的撰写简历的技巧，不到四个月，获得了在一家电脑公司做软件测试的实习机会。但就在当时，中共邪党在大陆各地开始了对法轮功学员和炼功点的骚扰，大家决定向墨尔本中领馆递交一封公开信，负责人指定我来做这件事，而递信的时间不前不后就是我上班的第一天。
I came to Australia in February1999. I learned how to write a resume in a free English class organized by the Immigration department. Four months later I was provided with an internship opportunity to test software in a computer company. At that time the CCP started to harass Falun Gong practitioners and the practice sites. Melbourne practitioners decided to submit an open letter to the Chinese consulate and I was appointed the person to submit the letter. The time for submission was right on the first day of my internship.
不修炼的家人知道后，极力劝阻我，试图说服我，如果第一天就迟到，就是不想要这个工作了。虽然不能说一点儿都没有动心，但当时的念头很简单，找到我就是我该做的，不能找理由推脱。于是出发去中领馆前，用还很蹩脚的英语给部门经理打电话告诉他要迟到两个小时，到公司后再详细解释原因。
My husband who was not a practitioner strongly objected. He tried to persuade me to give up. He said that if I was late on the first day, it meant that I didn’t want this job. Though my heart moved a little bit, my thought was simple that I meant to submit the letter because I was chosen to and I shouldn’t push it away by any excuse. Before I went to the Consulate, I rang my manager in my broken English and told him that I would be late for two hours for the reason that I would explain to him after I came to the office.
没想到，部门经理对我的“胆大包天”很感兴趣，爽快的答应了。到了公司后，经理仔细听我介绍法轮功、真善忍的原则以及修炼体会，从此他非常关心中国法轮功学员反迫害的情况。
Opposite to my expectation, my manager was interested in what I was doing and agreed to give me two hours leave. He listened to me attentively about Falun Gong, principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and my cultivation experiences after I arrived at the office. Since then he has been interested to know Falun Gong practitioners activities.
事情过后我悟到，这是师尊安排的一个“生死关”，我用信师信法的正念闯过来了。
I realized afterwards that this“life or death”test was arranged by Master and I successfully passed it with righteous thoughts and my firm belief in Master and the Fa.
两周实习期满后顺利被聘用，一直全职工作到现在，为我安心参与讲真相的项目提供了灵活的工作时间和经济保障。十多年来，公司多次裁员，我都平安无事，一名退休的总裁曾和我开玩笑的说：¡¡ã你应该是公司最后被裁员的人。¡¡À其实，这都是师尊加持的结果，在大法项目需要时间的时候，我往往能在很短的测试时间内，用看似非常偶然的步骤，发现很关键的问题，程序员和部门经理从来都不担心在期待的时间内得不到测试报告，往往是开玩笑的抱怨“为什么又找到这么多错！”。年终的业绩评估都是“非常满意”。所以多年来能同时顾及公司的业务和讲真相的项目。感恩师尊的巧安排，信师信法的正念愈加坚定。值得一提的是，数月前，公司绝大多数同事都在呼吁停止活摘的征签表上签了名。
I was provided a full time job after two weeks of internship. I have been working there since then. This job provides me with reliable income and flexible working hours so that I have time to get involved in truth clarifying projects. Many company employees have been made redundant in the past ten years. But I am secure in my position. A retired CEO in my company jokingly said that I would be the last person to be laid off. Thank you Master for your strengthening. Whenever I need time to do Dafa projects, I normally can finish my testing job in a very short time but find major problems using seemingly unusual methods. The managers and programmers never worry that they will not get the testing report in the required time. They often jokingly complain why I have found so many problems! I always get satisfactory result in my annual review. I have been able to do both ordinary job and Dafa projects well. Thank you Master for your perfect arrangements. I am more determined in my belief in Master and the Fa. Most of my colleagues signed the petition to stop the organ harvesting several months ago.
2.以媒体身份广结善缘
2.Knowing More People through Media
来澳洲前，我从事科技书籍的编辑工作，来澳洲后，在电脑公司测试的软件产品也是用于报纸印刷和广告管理等，师尊给我安排的证实法的修炼路注定和媒体出版业有关。
I was an editor of science books in China. In Australia I test software related to newspaper printing and advertisement management. My cultivation path that Master has arranged for me is also related to media and publishing industry.
因为具备文字编辑的功底，2003年起，开始做大纪元网站的新闻编译、综合报导、随后是报纸编辑以致当地新闻采访报导等，从此开始广结善缘。
Because I am good at writing, I have been doing news translation for the Epoch Times website, news rewriting and local news reporting for the Epoch Times newspaper since2003. I have been in contacts with many people and have many opportunities to clarify the truth to them.
师尊在《论语》中说：“人类对大法在世间的表现能够体现出应有的虔诚与尊重，那会给人、给民族或国家带来幸福或荣耀。”
Master said in Lun Yu：
“When humans can show due reverence and respect toward Dafa’s manifestations in the human world, it will bring happiness or glory to people, nations, or countries.”
通过学法和分享全澳各地同修的交流体会，深深体会到对政府议员讲清真象是正法进程中一个非常重要的环节，政府官员对大法的态度不仅会影响他们的未来，也关系到他们选区内众生的未来，同时政府官员对大法的支持也有力的窒息了邪恶。
Through Fa study and experience sharing with fellow practitioners around Australia, I realised that it was an important part in the Fa rectification process to clarify the truth to MPs. The attitudes of government officials towards Dafa determined their future and also the future of the people in their electoral districts. Their supportive attitudes strongly suppressed the evils.
因为在大陆的姐姐三次上访被劳教迫害的缘故，我于2000年和部分澳洲大法弟子，以联合营救受迫害法轮功学员亲友的方式，向澳洲各级政府和民众讲真相。也开始同联邦和维省议员以及他们的办公室打交道、介绍法轮功。选区里的联邦议员因此致信澳洲总理和外长，呼吁他们关注我家人受迫害的情况并希望给予协助。
My sister in China was persecuted due to her petitions for Dafa three times. In2000some Australian practitioners and I launched a campaign to rescue our family members and relatives who were persecuted in China. We took this opportunity to clarify the truth to all levels of government and Australian people. I started to contact state and federal MPs and their offices and introduced Falun Gong to them. The federal MP in my electorate wrote a letter to the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and urged them to pay attention to the situation of my family member and hoped that they would provide help.
就我个人而言，个性是大胆、外向、思想简单。修炼后，大法给予的正念，让我在接触社会各行各业的人士中，几乎不怯场，尤其是来澳洲后，虽然英语听说写的水平很多年来都是中式英语，长进缓慢，但并没有妨碍我参加各种活动、在各种场合做采访报导、给VIP讲真相等。
I am a simple, outgoing and extrovert person. Strengthened by my righteous thoughts from cultivation I was able to meet people from all walks of life without any fear. With my limited English, I attended various social activities and interviewed people in all sorts of occasions and clarified the truth to VIPs.
师尊在《二零零四年芝加哥法会讲法》中说：
“大法弟子每个人都得走出自己的路，修炼中的路大家互相都是不同的，就是说每个人修炼的路都不同。宇宙中各种各样不同层次的未来生命状态，可能在你们这都有一定的体现，就看你们在证实法中自己的路走的正不正、好不好、能不能行，还带有这样大的因素在里面。”
Master said in Teaching the Fa at the2004Chicago Conference
“Each Dafa disciple has to make and complete his own path, and your paths in cultivation are all different; in other words, each person’s cultivation path is different. All of the future states of the various kinds of beings that are at different levels of the cosmos might manifest in you to a certain extent, so it all depends on whether the paths you yourselves walk in validating the Fa are straight, good, and will work. Factors this huge are involved.”
以媒体编辑记者的身份兼顾政府、VIP的工作，有些同修并不完全同意我的做法，但的确是一个非常容易拉近关系的方式，同时介绍大纪元的宗旨就能讲真相，多年来，接触到各行各业的有缘人，他们因此了解了法轮功反迫害的真相。也许这是一条适合我生命特点的证实法的路。
I was a reporter and also involved with government and VIP truth clarifying projects. Some practitioners didn’t think I should assume several roles. But I was able to easily get along with people in this way. When I introduced the mission of The Epoch Times to them, I was clarifying the truth to them in a natural way. I have come across many pre-destined people in various industries and they came to know the facts about Falun Dafa. This may be my path to validate the Fa.
下面介绍几位议员在明白真相后，他们支持大法摆放位置的过程。
Here I’d like to share with you how some MPs positioned themselves after they knew the truth.
议员A四年前第一次当选，他的选区距离报社不远，华人居民很多。之前的议员由于当地西人同修的努力，是非常支持大法的。为了继续获得新议员的支持，我要求和他会面，介绍大纪元。这位议员很重视华人媒体，会面时了解的很仔细。我也从媒体的角度介绍了中国的人权迫害。
MP A was elected for the first time four years ago. His electorate was not far from Epoch Times office. There are a lot of Chinese residents in the electorate. The previous MP in this electorate supported Dafa due to the efforts of our Western practitioners. In order to gain support from the new MP, I made an appointment with him to introduce Epoch Times to him. He was happy to meet reporters from Chinese media. He asked many questions. I told him the human rights violations in China from a media perspective.
随后，在台湾社区组织的活动中见过几次，得知他对民主、人权的支持立场很鲜明。他的办公室定期和我们联系，发来了英文大纪元周年庆的贺词。2015年的神韵，他又发来贺词，并和妻子一起观看了演出。演出中，议员A不断啧啧称奇、赞叹不已。中场休息的时候，结合反迫害的节目，系统的给他讲了真相，他很震惊。演出结束后，他接受了新唐人的专访，发表了精彩的反馈，被全球报社转载。谢谢师尊，这是被唤醒的生命对神韵发自内心的赞美。
Later on I met him several times in the Taiwanese community activities. He strongly supported democracy and human rights. His office contacted us regularly. He sent congratulation letter to celebrate our English Epoch Times Anniversary. He also sent his congratulations to Shen Yun for2015and watched Shen Yun with his wife. He was amazed by the show. When we talked about the Falun Gong program in the interval, I clarified the truth to him more deeply. He was shocked. He was interviewed by NTDTV at the end of show and gave wonderful feedback. He was quoted by the global Epoch Times. This was praise from the bottom of his heart to Shen Yun from an awakened soul.
议员B是在采访维省越南社区组织的一次声援香港学运的集会时认识的。他发表了观点非常鲜明的反对邪党的演说，令人印象非常深刻。在集会现场的短暂交谈中，他同意在选区办公室会面。当地的同修非常配合，会面时和他分享了修炼体会以及受迫害经历，他非常感谢我们的到访，并主动说任何时候需要帮助都可以联系他。
I came to know MP B in an assembly organized by Vietnamese community to support Hong Kong students. He made a speech and strongly condemned the CCP. He impressed everybody. I had a brief talk with him and he agreed an appointment in his office. A local practitioner came with me to see him. He shared his cultivation experience and the torture he had undergone with MP B. MP B was thankful for our visit and he said that he would offer help in any time.
不久，我发给他在声援退党的集会上发言的邀请函，他的助手很快就确定了他将出席。基于他对共产邪党的深刻认识，议员B支持中国民众唾弃中共邪党的演说令人感佩，其中的主要内容随活动报导在媒体上刊载，有力的窒息了邪恶。
Soon I invited him to make a speech in our assembly to support Chinese people to quit the CCP. His PA confirmed that he would attend. He made a good speech and supported Chinese people to withdraw from the CCP. He had a deep understanding of the nature of the CCP. His speech was published in Epoch Times, which suffocated the evil.
他的办公室组织的筹款晚餐会，收到邀请后虽然价格不菲，我没有犹豫立即订座，对他也表示个人的支持。他很感谢。我也在活动上见到了另外几个议员，以及该党派的领导人，为日后进一步联系讲真相打下基础。感谢师尊的巧妙安排。
His office invited me to a fundraising dinner. I accepted immediately to show my support to him though it was expensive. He was very thankful. I met several other MPs and the leader of his party in the function and laid a foundation for me to clarify the truth to them later on. Thank you Master for your wonderful arrangements.
和议员C的良好关系维持了近八年。一开始，也是通过采访结缘。虽然不属于同一个党派，但他也和议员A一样是台湾社区活动的常客，非常支持民主人权。每年他都发来神韵贺词，并就如何针对议员讲真相提出了他的建议。
I have been in good relationship with MP C for eight years. I came to know him through an interview. Though he was not in the same party as MP A, he was a frequent guest in the Taiwanese community like MP A. He strongly supported democracy and human rights. He sent congratulation letter to Shen Yun every year. He gave me good advice on how to clarify the truth to MPs.
因为比较熟悉，依赖他的人心不知不觉生出来。最近，再联系会面就不顺利了。两次以无法协助为由拒绝了会面的要求。向内找，究竟是哪颗心被邪恶钻了空子呢？一定是希望他能做更多，生出了有求的心。为了清除邪恶的干扰，除了发正念，悟到自己也要严格修自己，一思一念都不能再有依赖常人的想法。如果因为人心被邪恶钻空子，让已经得救的生命走到对立面去，将是痛悔万分的事情。归正自己，接下来要和同修配合理智的讲真相，挽回损失。
Because we were familiar, I developed the attachment of relying on him. Recently I contacted him but didn’t get a good response from him. He refused me twice for an appointment with the reason that he was not able to help. I looked inward to see what loophole I had that let the evil took advantage of. I must have hoped that he would do more for us. This was the attachment of pursuit. I sent forth righteous thoughts to clear the interference. I also realized that I must be strict with myself and shouldn’t have the thought of relying on everyday people. If the evil took advantage of my human attachment and pushed the saved being to the opposite direction, I would be regretful forever. I must rectify myself and clarify the truth to him with wisdom with the help of fellow practitioners so as to save the loss.
3.利用社交媒体结缘
3.Getting to Know More People Through Social Media
因为社交媒体的普及，议员们为了广交人脉，推销政见拉选票，都纷纷转战网络，几大社交媒体上都能见到他们。我觉得这是一个很好的了解议员，和他们互通有无的平台。他们也都很乐意接受添加朋友的邀请，因为他们很在乎粉丝的数量。
With the popularity of social media, MPs turn to internet to get in touch with people, promote their policies and get votes. They constantly appear in the big social media. I think this is a good platform to know MPs and exchange information with them.
虽然有时候觉得非常花费时间，但一个简单的赞（like）除了表达关注和支持，也是日后有机会见面聊天的谈资，而不只是法轮功真相一个话题。另外，社交媒体上发消息，也是和他们沟通最直接快捷的方式，当然是比较紧急的情形才发。
Though sometimes it is time consuming, I would surf the net to click搇ike? button to show my concern and support. It was also the topic for future conversation with them if I had the opportunity to meet them. Falun Gong would not be the only topic among us then. In urgent situation, publishing information on the social media was also an express and direct way to communicate with them。
因为议员C的建议，在脸书上关注一位乡村地区的议员E有一段时间了，最近我在他的网站上留言，要求会面，我的短信内容是以对他在脸书上定期贴出的选区内风景照片的赞美开头的，然后才是要求会面的原因。几个小时后，就接到他的简短回复。虽然是礼貌性的，但也确定他已经在考虑中了。我觉得，就是因为我对他的关注，他也投桃报李，下一步讲清真相乐观其成。
As per MP C’s suggestion, I had been following MP E from the rural area in the face book for some time. Recently I left a message on his face book to make an appointment with him. I started the conversation with him by praising the scenery photos of his electorate he posted on his face book. Then I presented the real reason to him for an appointment. He replied to me briefly several hours later. Though it was a courtesy reply, I got the message that he was considering my request. Because I followed him, he did the same to me. It laid a good foundation for me to clarify the truth to him in the future.
4.利用常人的活动结缘
4.Knowing More People through Everyday People’s Activities
这些年来，为了接触到议员或者VIP，以媒体的身份参加了各种餐会、专题论坛、庆祝会等等。
In recent years, in order to know more MPs and VIPs, I have attended many dinners, forums and celebrations.
参加活动的花费是每月不小的一笔支出。通过参加这些活动，推广媒体，结交各界众生，其中不少是VIP，适当的时候邀请他们观看神韵，并发表名人反馈，有力的烘托了神韵。
The tickets expenses were a big amount each month. But through those activities, I was able to promote our media, get to know sentient beings from all walks of life including VIPs. I invited them to watch Shen Yun and they gave good feedback. This way Shen Yun got publicized。
最近参加的一次活动，特别令我感慨，常人的一切形式，似乎都是等待为大法弟子所用。
A recent event made me realize that every day people’s format is all for Dafa practitioners’ use.
近日，在专程到悉尼参加了纽省议会内举办的有关活摘议案的研讨会之后，感到特别需要结识法律界的人士，以便为在维省采取类似的行动做准备。一位商法律师建议资讯维省律师协会，于是发现他们即将主办年度午餐会，邀请维省议员F做演讲嘉宾，而这位议员在7月麦塔斯访问墨尔本期间没有接受邀请来参加大学讨论会。我觉得这是一个非常好的机会能和他当面聊两句。虽然很贵，但立即报名了。
Recently I went to Sydney to attend the forum on organ harvesting held in the NSW parliament. I wanted to know more legal professionals so that I could make preparation for Victoria to have similar forum. A commercial lawyer suggested that I contact Victoria Bar Association. I found out that they were going to hold annual luncheon and invite Victorian MP F to be a guest speaker. This MP didn’t accept our invitation for attending the Mata’s forum held in Melbourne University in July. I felt that this was a good opportunity for me to talk to him. Though the ticket was expensive, I registered my name.
参加这个午餐会的结果实在出乎意料，无比感恩师尊的加持。
The result of the luncheon was beyond my expectation. Thank you Master for your strengthening.
首先，虽然每个圆桌的客人名单是事先安排好的，但如何就坐是随机的。坐在我旁边的是律师协会的一个秘书，当她听说我们希望维省议会也能考虑类似纽省议案的时候，主动把我介绍给同来参加餐会的一位资深女律师，她是律师协会人权委员会的成员。在接下来的邮件交流中，她很认真的答应在两周内举行的人权委员会会议上提出这个问题，讨论律师协会是否可以参与。
Though the organiser arranged the table for the guests, we were able to sit freely in the same table. The person sitting beside me was the secretary of the Bar Association. When she heard that we hoped that the Victorian parliament could hold a similar forum as NSW did, she introduced me to a senior female lawyer in the luncheon. She was a member of Human Rights Commission. In our emails she agreed that she would raise this question in the Human Rights Commission meeting to be held in two weeks time and discuss if the Bar Association should be involved.
其次，餐会是律师协会的主席主持的，我也找机会和她聊了两句，拿着纽省绿党议员的媒体照片向她大致介绍了纽省的进展。希望能找机会见面详谈。她爽快的答应了，没几天就安排了秘书确定了会面日期。
The President of the Victorian Bar Association hosted the luncheon. I showed her the photo published in Epoch Times of a NSW green MP and talked to her briefly about the NSW forum. I hoped to make appointment with her. She agreed and her secretary made a date for me several days later.
第三，在等电车准备离开市中心的时候，看到一位著名人权律师参加完同一个午餐会后走路经过，我立即赶上前递交名片希望能有机会喝咖啡。他也彬彬有礼的答应了。当天就安排秘书确定了会面日期。同修在过去一直试图邀请他来参加大法的活动，他都以工作忙为由推辞了。和他的会面持续了半个小时，我不停的发正念，希望能唤醒他明白的一面。谢谢师尊的加持，他从一开始说因为没有仔细研究，不能确定迫害是否是真实的，到后来答应安排实习生做研究然后汇报给他，他会相信实习生的研究结果，再到后来同意10月份从海外回来后再次见面，能感受他的态度在明显的变化。他还主动要求能获得律师协会的讨论资讯。因为他当场仔细阅读了一些我提供给他的资料和书籍的部分内容，他明白的一面已经接受了真相。
When I was waiting for a tram in the city, I saw a famous human rights lawyer passed by after he finished a luncheon. I presented my business card to him and hoped to have a coffee with him soon. He politely agreed. On the same day his secretary made an appointment for me. Fellow practitioners had been trying to invite him to attend our Dafa activities but he refused with the excuse that he was busy. I met him for half an hour. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts during the meeting to awaken his knowing side. Thanks to Master’s strengthening, I felt his changes. At the start he said that he was not sure if the persecution was real because he hadn’t done any research. Later he agreed to arrange the intern students to do a research and report it to him. He said that he would believe his intern’s research result. Finally he agreed to meet me again in October after he came back from overseas. He asked for the information for the Bar Association forum. He read the materials and some paragraphs of the book I gave to him on the spot. His knowing side accepted the truth.
最后，虽然在餐会现场和维省议员F只聊了不到一分钟，但他答应考虑我的会面的要求。这是我在法会之后要做的。
Though I talked with Victorian MP F for less than a minute in the luncheon, he agreed to consider my request for an appointment. After this Fa conference, I will contact him again.
在交流的最后，请允许我以师尊在《二零一四年旧金山法会讲法》中的两段话和同修们共勉：
Finally I would like to end my sharing with Master’s Fa from Teaching Given at the2014San Francisco Fa Conference：
“形势逼人，那么多生命等着你们救度，我非常的急！”
“The situation is pressing, and so many lives are waiting for you to save them. I am extremely anxious！”
“来在世上的生命，当不上人，当动物、当植物，都等着大法弟子救度。你们做不好啊，不只是你们自己做不好，你发愿要救度的那些生命，都将失去机会。你们责任重大，未来等着你们，宇宙众多的生命都在等着你们。”
“The beings that have come to this world, [including those that] couldn’t become human beings and became animals or plants—all of them are waiting for Dafa disciples to save them. If you don’t do well, it’s not just a matter of you yourselves not doing well—the beings that you have vowed to save will lose their chance. Your responsibility is great. The future is waiting for you, and numerous beings in the cosmos are waiting for you。”
