今年五月，西澳珀斯首次迎來了響譽全球的神韻國際藝術團。因為久遠的期待和找劇場一波三折來之不易，所以珀斯同修們對推廣神韻的機會都倍感珍惜。在推廣神韻過程中珀斯同修們體現出了前所未有的整體配合、整體提高與升華，雖然在推廣過程中遇到了很多的干擾和考驗，但是憑著信師信法和相互正念支持，我們一一排除了這些干擾，在師尊的加持下圓滿的完成這次推廣計劃，最後出現了場場爆滿，一票難求的盛況。
In May, it was the first time that Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, had ShenYun . Due to the long period of anticipation and the trouble in securing a theatre, practitioners in Perth really cherished the rare chance to promote Shen Yun. All practitioners worked as one body and improved as a whole in Shen Yun promotion. Although we have encountered many tests and interference ; with faith in Master and the Fa, Perth practitioners supported each other and denied the old forces’ arrangements. With blessings from Master, we had full houses and people waiting for tickets at the theatre until the last show started.
今天就和同修們分享我們在推廣神韻過程中的一些修煉體會。
Today I’m going to share some of my cultivation experience during this process.
與西人同修正念配合 破除來自中領館的干擾
Working with Western Practitioners to Remove the Interference from the Chinese Consulate
在今年珀斯神韻演出期間，正好有三週是珀斯國際藝術節。這個期間藝術節在各大劇院安排了很多古典音樂會、芭蕾舞等演出，這些演出的觀眾都是神韻的目標觀眾。為此我和一名西人同修去年十一月起就走訪了珀斯所有的劇場和西澳所有代理神韻票務的售票點，對我們所有能接觸到的劇場工作人員及售票人員講神韻的美好，給他們播放神韻推廣的視頻和觀眾反饋。首次走訪都很順利，人們的反饋非常正面，所有的劇場和售票點都接受了神韻的傳單，能貼海報的劇場和售票點也都願意張貼神韻海報。然而不久之後，我們再去回訪，發現大部分公立劇院撤下了神韻海報，有些劇院連傳單也撤了。後來我們從劇院工作人員那裡得知，那是因為中共施壓西澳政府而造成的後果。為此我們兩次造訪中領館，窒息邪惡之源。
Before the Shen Yun performances, Perth had a very important event – the Perth International Arts Festival which lasted three weeks. There were many classical concerts and ballet performances in most of the government-run theatres during this period. The audiences of these shows are also the target audience of Shen Yun, so in November a western practitioner and I started to visit all theatres and box offices to introduce Shen Yun to the staff, showing them ShenYun videos and audience reviews. The first visits were very successful. The people we talked to were very supportive, all theatres and box offices accepted Shen Yun flyers, those that had space for posters all accepted a Shen Yun poster. However, when we re-visited these venues a few weeks later, we found that most government-run venues had taken the Shen Yun posters down. Some even took away the Shen Yun flyers as well. Some venue staff told us later on that, due to the pressure from the Chinese Consulate, they received notice from their top management not to support Shen Yun promotion. Because of this, we visited the Chinese consulate twice to suffocate the evil, eliminating the interference at its core.
事實上中領館除了前期施壓西澳政府之外，到二月中旬，中領館的官員還親自上陣，總領事的助手給神韻演出劇院的劇院經理發電子郵件，聲稱要談談關於神韻演出的事情。 針對此事件同修們進行了交流，之後我們決定約見中共總領事，但一直沒接到迴音。期間我給他們發了幾次電郵介紹神韻演出的美好和全世界人們對神韻的期盼。最後我們決定直接去中領館找總領事。那天由一位西人學員和我進去，還有一些學員在家發正念。總領事的助手出來，問明我們的來意後，非常緊張，因為他就是那個代替總領事給劇院經理發信的人。他叫我們在廳裡等著，就進去了，半個小時也沒有出來。我就在廳裡邊發正念邊給來領館辦事的人（主要是華人）發神韻傳單，告訴他們去哪裡買票。又過了好一會兒，他還是沒有出來。這時我心生一念：再不出來我就要給大家放神韻推廣視頻了，邊想邊往外拿iPad。馬上看到這個助手出來了，還帶了另外一名領館官員，但是總領事本人沒有出來。他們把我們叫到旁邊的一個小會客室裡，敷衍了幾句，藉口說總領事不在，以後再說吧。我們問他們可不可以約個時間見總領事，他們不予置答。跟他說中領館干擾神韻的事他兩都裝著什麼都不知道，我給了他們神韻傳單和神韻推廣光盤。當週我們立刻在珀斯大法弟子自己辦的兩個媒體上曝光了中領館干擾神韻的整個經過，同時我們集體決定加演一場，大家一致認為這樣才是否定了舊勢力的安排。
In fact, besides pressurising the government of Western Australia, the officers of the Chinese consulate had even taken actions in person to cause trouble for Shen Yun. In February, the manager of the theatre where Shen Yun would be performing received an email from the Chinese Consul General asking for an appointment to talk about Shen Yun. Perth practitioners had discussed it and decided to meet with the Chinese Consul General. But the Chinese consulate ignored the emails from us for an appointment. So a western practitioner and I decided to visit the Chinese consulate directly. The assistant to the Consul General asked for our details in the reception area.. After finding out who we were and what we had come for, he started to get very nervous. He was the very person who had sent that email to the Shen Yun hosting theatre on behalf of the Consul General. He told us to wait in the lobby and went inside. He did not come back for half an hour, so we started to introduce Shen Yun to the people in the lobby. Most of them were mainland Chinese who came to obtain visas or other help. I give them Shen Yun flyers and told them where to buy tickets. As the assistant still kept us waiting, I had an idea. If no one comes to talk to us, I will play the Shen Yun videos in the lobby, and took out my iPad. At that very moment the assistant returned with another Chinese officer, not the Consul General. They took us to a small meeting room and told us that the Consul General would not be available at the time. when we wanted to make an appointment with him. When we pointed out that they had interfered in matters outside their acceptable duties as diplomats they pretended that they knew nothing about it. Before we left, I gave them Shen Yun flyers and a promotion DVD. In the same week, the media outlets run by local practitioners exposed what the Chinese consulate had done to interfere with Shen Yun.
然而邪惡的中共沒有就此善罷甘休，三月中旬，中共駐澳洲大使特地從坎培拉飛到珀斯，召見所有華人團體，公然通知他們都不要買神韻的票，或者買了也不要去看。不同的華人社團都有人告知我們這一消息。針對此事我們進行了交流，決定由一名西人同修和我輪流給中領館發去多封電子郵件。西人同修從當地法律的角度告訴他們這麼做違法。我則從講真相的角度告訴他們不要繼續做這種損人害己的事情，比如告訴他們西班牙中領館因為干擾被起訴的例子。儘管如此，神韻到達珀斯前夕，還是有些擔心中領館幹壞事。於是那位西人同修和我又去了一次中領館，這次有三個人在正式的會議室會見了我們，其中一個明顯是主抓迫害法輪功的，一上來就開始一套一套地背誦中共誣衊法輪功的邪惡宣傳，而且一開始就聲明不允許說英文，想抑制西人同修不讓他說話，專門對付我一個人。我不停的用真相反駁他，心中不斷發著正念，還有一位同修在領館外面發正念。雙方的對峙大約進行了近二十分鐘，我還直接把iPhone公開放在我們談話的會議桌上全程錄了音。邪惡不斷地想誤導我承認我們是來威脅他們的，在師父的加持下，西人同修和我都很清醒，我們一直告訴他們：我們就是來邀請你們去看神韻的。最後他說這是不可能的，然後很快結束了談話。我們出門時這位看上去主管迫害法輪功的領館官員問我來澳洲幾年了，我友善的告訴他九年了，然後跟他握手就離開了，心裡感到很平靜，是那種疾風暴雨之後的平靜。我心裡知道，此行已經平息了邪惡，中領館已經不能再做什麼事干擾神韻在西澳的推廣了。之後的演出也的確沒有受到什麼實質性的干擾，最後的場次還出現了一票難求的盛況。我們的觀眾調查證實，華人來的也很多，推廣過程中我們也體會到這一點。
However, the evil CCP hadn’t stopped there. In mid-March, the Chinese Ambassador flew to Perth from Canberra, meeting with all the Chinese groups in WA, publicly asking these groups not to buy Shen Yun tickets.. People from different Chinese associations all told me about this. We had a sharing about it, and decided to send emails to the consulate from a different angle. A western practitioner sentan email to them, telling them that what they were doing violates international law. I sent them a further email telling them not to continue doing things that harmed themselves and others. For example, sending them the details about how the Chinese embassy in Spain was sued because of interfering Shen Yun. Just before Shen Yun arrived, the western practitioner and I went to the Chinese Consulate again. This time, three officers (excluding the Consul General) met us in a formal meeting room. The main speaker was obviously in charge of Falun Gong issues, he said that only the Chinese language would be used in the meetin, trying to prevent the western practitioner from participating at the outset, so they could target me. Then he started to repeat the CCP’s evil propagandasabout Dafa. . I refuted him on every point as he was talking and sent very strong righteous thoughts from the heart. Also we had another practitioner sending righteous thoughts outside the consulate. The confrontation between the two sides lasted about twenty minutes. I openly put my iPhone on the table and recordedeverything. The evil kept trying to mislead me to say that we came to threaten them. With Master’s blessing and protection, both the western practitioner and I kept a very clear mind. We kept telling them we only came to invite them to see Shen Yun. He then said that it was impossible and finished the interview. While we were walking out, that main speakker asked me how long I’ve been in Australia. I told him I’d been here for nine years and shook hands with him. Then we left with an extremely calm heart – the type of calmness you get after a ferocious storm. I realise that the evil had been neutralised at its core. and they couldn’t do anything more to interfere with Shen Yun. In fact, Shen Yun didn’t experience any substantial interference after that. For the last show the Regal Theatre had to find the “Full House” sign which they hadn’t used for more than thirty years. We still had peple waiting for tickets outside. The audience survey indicated that we had many Chinese in the audience. We got a similar impression during the promotion campaign as well. Below are a few examples:

Once We Deny the Old Forces People will Choose the Right Future
當地最大華人社團一名來自大陸的義工本來跟我很熟識，又喜歡舞蹈和音樂，所以當我告訴她神韻要來的消息時，她非常高興，說要我給她訂四張最貴的票。後來突然來電話取消，她告訴我說中領館的人威脅他們不可以去看神韻，誰去看了誰就是法輪功的一員，以後回國就麻煩大了。她因為很快要跟先生回大陸一趟，就害怕了。後來有一天，幾個來自同一社團的華人，直接到我們媒體的辦公室要買九張票。我給這幾個人訂完票後，趕緊打電話告訴那位大陸來的朋友：「你們同事都來買神韻票了，你可別落下了。」後來她買了最貴的票。
There was a mainland Chinese lady who I’m very familiar with. She is a volunteer from WA’s biggest Chinese association, and loves music and dancing. When I told her Shen Yun was coming, she was very happy and wanted me to reserve four tickets for her. However, she cancelled later on and told me that the reason was because the officers from the Chinese the consulate told them not to watch Shen Yun saying that whoever watched Shen Yun will be treated as a member of Falun Gong and he/she will be in trouble when they go back to China. Because she needed to go back to China with her husband shortly after Shen Yun’s performances, she was scared. One day, a few other members from the same Chinese association came to our office to buy nine tickets. After serving them I called that lady and told her: “Your colleagues just came and bought nine tickets, don’t be left out.” Later on, she bought premium tickets.
還有一次我們在西澳州立劇院發傳單，遇到一位年輕的華裔小夥子，便給他神韻資料，問他有沒有聽說過神韻，買票沒有。他說早就聽說了，但他媽媽接到一華人社團轉達的中領館的通知說不要去看，不過他媽媽還是買了票，肯定要去看的。
One day we were handing out Shen Yun flyers at the state theatre, and came across a young Chinese gentleman. We gave him a flyer and asked him: “Have you ever heard about Shen Yun?” “did you buy tickets?” He said he already knew about it. He also knew that his Mother received a notice from her association, which was instructed by the Chinese consulate, asking the members not to see Shen Yun. But his mum had already bought tickets.
神韻演出前一天，我還賣出去六張貴賓票，全部是華人。
On the day before Shen Yun’s first performance in Perth, I sold six released VIP tickets which were all bought by Chinese.
今天交流回憶這整個的過程，還真有一點驚心動魄呢。但是在當初走過來的過程中，也沒覺得有什麼特別之處，就是一路想著向前、向前，一定要把干擾神韻在西澳演出的一切邪惡因素全部滅盡，就帶著這麼簡單的一念，也許這就是溶於法中的狀態。說白了，這一切的干擾無論看上去有多麼的邪惡，也不過是舊勢力的一點小伎倆，只要我們真正從內心全盤否定它，它又能起什麼作用呢？
Today when I recall this whole process, I really feel a little bit thrilled. But when we were in the midst of the process, I didn’t feel anything special. I just kept thinking about moving forward, moving forward, and being very determined to eliminate all evil factors that could interfere with Shen Yun’s performances. I just had this pure and simple thought. Maybe that is exactly the state of “melting into the Fa”. In fact, no matter how evil all these interferences appear, it’s just a little trick the old forces are playing. As long as we truly deny it from our heart, it won’t have any effect.
師父告訴我們：「當然了舊勢力所有安排的這一切我們都不承認，我這個師父不承認，大法弟子當然也都不承認。（鼓掌）但是它們畢竟做了它們要做的，大法弟子更應該做的更好，在救度眾生中修好自己。在修煉中碰到魔難要修自己要看自己啊，這不是承認了舊勢力安排的魔難、在它們安排的魔難中如何做好，不是這樣。我們是連舊勢力的本身的出現、它們的安排的一切都是否定的，它們的存在都不承認。我們是在根本上否定它的這一切，在否定排除它們中你們所做的一切才是威德。不是在它們造成的魔難中去修煉，是在不承認它們中走好自己的路，連消除它們本身的魔難表現也不承認。（鼓掌）那麼從這個角度上看，我們面對的事情就是對舊勢力全盤否定。它們垂死掙扎的表現，我與大法弟子都不承認。」（《二零零四年芝加哥法會講法》）我想在這次推廣神韻的過程中，我真的從內心理解了也親身體會到了這段法的一些內涵。
Master told us: “Of course, we don’t acknowledge any of the things that the old forces arranged–I as your master don’t acknowledge them, and Dafa disciples of course don’t acknowledge them either. (Applause) But after all, they did do what they wanted to do, so there’s all the more reason for Dafa disciples to do even better and cultivate themselves well in the course of saving all beings. When you encounter ordeals during your cultivation, you have got to cultivate yourself and look at yourself–that doesn’t mean acknowledging the ordeals arranged by the old forces and trying to do well amidst the ordeals they’ve arranged, that’s not the case. We negate even the very emergence of the old forces and everything that they’ve arranged; we don’t even acknowledge their existence. We’re fundamentally negating all of their things, and all of, and only, the things you do while negating and getting rid of them is mighty-virtue. It’s not that you’re cultivating amidst the ordeals they created. Rather, you are to walk your own path well while not acknowledging them, not even acknowledging the elimination of their ordeals’ manifestations. (Applause) So looking at it from this angle, what we need to do is completely negate the old forces. Dafa disciples and I don’t even acknowledge the manifestations of their last-ditch efforts.”(Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference) I think through the process of promoting Shen Yun, I truly understood and also experienced the connotation of this Fa teaching on a certain level from my heart.
當我們正念純淨的時候，修煉真的變得那麼的簡單。師父說：「如果真的能在困難面前念頭很正，在邪惡迫害面前、在干擾面前，你講出的一句正念堅定的話就能把邪惡立即解體，（鼓掌）就能使被邪惡利用的人掉頭逃走，就使邪惡對你的迫害煙消雲散，就使邪惡對你的干擾消失遁形。就這麼正信的一念，誰能守住這正念，誰就能走到最後，誰就能成為大法所造就的偉大的神。」（《各地講法七》〈美西國際法會講法〉）各位同修，讓我們守住這正念，緊隨師父，救度更多眾生，共同兌現我們史前的誓願！
When we keep our righteous thoughts truly pure, cultivation becomes really simple. Master said: “If upon encountering trying circumstances your thinking can be truly righteous, then, when faced with the evil’s persecution and when faced with interference, just one sentence of yours fortified with steadfast righteous thoughts can instantly make the evil disintegrate (applause), and it will make those who are being used by the evil turn and flee, it will make the evil’s persecution of you dissolve, and it will make the evil’s interfering with you disappear without a trace. One thought born of righteous faith is all it takes. And whoever can hold firm that righteous thought and go the distance will become a magnificent god forged by Dafa.”(Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference) Dear fellow practitioners, let us be solid with this righteous faith, diligently following Master, saving more sentient beings, and working together to fulfill our prehistoric vows!
